Capitan Camote and his friends are dedicated to fighting blinding eye diseases that leave people living in physical darkness. The weapons in the fight against the darkness of blinding eye diseases may include good eating habits, personal cleanliness and a safe, clean environment. But we often find ourselves fighting a different kind of darkness. The Bible says,

"For our struggle is not against a human opponent, but against rulers, against authorities, against cosmic powers in the darkness around us, against evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm." Ephesians 6:12 ISV

This fight against the cosmic powers in the darkness is truly a battle to the end - a matter of life or death! The weapons we need to fight this battle are full of amazing power -
"For the weapons of our warfare are not those of the flesh. Instead, they have the power of God to demolish fortresses." 2 Corinthians 10:4 ISV

"Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the devil's strategies... For this reason, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to take a stand in that evil day. And when you have done everything you could, you will be able to stand firm. Stand firm, therefore, having fastened the belt of truth around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having put shoes on your feet so that you are ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. In addition to all of these, having taken up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one, also take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:11-17 ISV

Putting on this armor of God begins by joining the Forces of Light, commanded by the greatest 'super hero' that ever lived - Jesus Christ! Jesus came to destroy the works of darkness by living a perfect life and by winning the fight to the finish with the Prince of Darkness, the devil - Jesus gave His life on a cross in the final battle and God raised Jesus from the dead to overcome the dark forces forever!

You can join Jesus' Forces of Light right now through prayer by admitting you need help against the powers of darkness, by believing that God raised Jesus from the dead, and by pledging your allegience to Jesus as your Captain and Champion! Just ask through a simple prayer like this;

'Jesus, I need Your help right now to fight the dark forces. I know You gave your life to fight the forces of darkness for me and You live now to help me in the fight. Thank you for including me in your Forces of Light and I promise to follow you as my Captain and Champion. Amen.'
